Delete Your Sola Coffea Account
This action is permanent. Once your account is deleted,
your community profile, posts, photos, and shared content are permanently
removed and cannot be recovered.
Option 1: Delete from inside the app (fastest)
- Open Sola Coffea on your device.
- Go to the Profile tab.
- Tap the gear icon to open Settings.
- Scroll to Account, tap Delete Account.
- Confirm. Your account, posts, comments, follows, photos, and profile data are deleted immediately. Your local on-device data is also wiped on next launch.
Option 2: Request deletion by email
If you no longer have access to the app, email us from the address associated with your account and we'll process the deletion within 7 days.
What gets deleted
- Your Sola Coffea community profile, which is tied to your Apple ID / iCloud account.
- Your social posts, comments, likes, and follows.
- Photos and profile images you shared to the community.
- Your public profile, sharing preferences, and activity records.
- Coffee circles you created (membership records are removed; circles you joined remain available to other members).
- Bean Boards, owner responses, and shop claims tied to your account.
Deleting your account removes your shared community content. Your private coffee library and brew history live in your personal iCloud storage; this on-device data is wiped when you delete your account in the app, and you can also remove it at any time from the app's settings.
What is retained
- Anonymized, aggregated metrics that cannot be tied back to you (e.g. install counts).
- Records we are required to retain by law (e.g. transaction logs for accounting, where applicable). These are kept for the legally required period and then deleted.
- Apple may retain residual copies in iCloud system backups for a limited period under Apple's own retention policies, after which they are removed.
Timeline
- In-app deletion: immediate. Account becomes unusable on tap.
- Email request: processed within 7 days; we'll reply to confirm.
- iCloud backups: residual copies in Apple's system backups age out under Apple's retention policies.
